Clinical Educator - Pediatric Acute Care Rehab and Respiratory Units - Part Time

SUMMARY: The Clinical Educator is accountable for planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education activities. This position is accountable along with area leadership teams for promoting a continuous learning environment that supports ongoing staff development for assigned clinical areas. This position practices within the scope of the Nursing Practice act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years full time or equivalent related experience
• Ability to demonstrate the skills necessary to plan, implement and evaluate education programs using appropriate education principles
• Bilingual skills desirable

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
• HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
• Pediatric Emergency Assess, Resuscitation & Stabilization (PEARS) within 12 months of hire or transfer into position
• National certification in area of specialty preferred

POSITION DETAILS: Part time, 4 x 8-hour shifts per week, Mon-Fri hours

PAY RANGE: $53.00 - $78.00

LOCATION: Madera, CA
