CT Technologist I - NC - Computed Tomography

SUMMARY: Performs a variety of standard and specialty Computed Tomography (CT) procedures with accuracy, responsibly administering ionizing radiation appropriately, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions with little supervision. Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, CT physics and image production. Assists in the identification and resolution of work process issues within the department. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

REQUIREMENTS: Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or a HS Diploma/GED with completion of a formal program in Radiologic Technology. CA Rad Tech License is required. ARRT Registered Tech Radiography is preferred and must obtain a Venipuncture Certificate within 6 months of hire or transfer into position. . BLS is required.

POSITION DETAILS: Part Time, 40 hours per pay period, Weekend rotation in CT and Radiology. Must be able to work Holidays.
