IT Project Coordinator - IT PMO

SUMMARY: Serves as a project manager, lead technical support, and liaison between the Valley Children's Healthcare ITS Division and our remote facilities. This position is accountable for project managing the planning for technical infrastructure and applications for newly acquired remote facilities, along with coordinating and assisting in the installation, maintenance, documentation, troubleshooting and analysis of all systems. Will serve as the liaison for all IT-related budgeting and procurement to ensure timely installation and maintenance. Serves as expert and resource on network protocols, topology, and services The position will require travel and prioritizing, documenting and servicing service desk tickets for end users at multiple locations.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field as well as a minimum three (3) years related work experience. Direct experience in support of LAN and WAN technologies including Ethernet, network operating systems, and routing using current generation vendor offers. Ability to utilize standard PC productivity software (Microsoft Office) and specialty software (drawing, CAD, database and terminal software in the performance of duties). Project Management experience with network and infrastructure design for both acquired and new organizations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred. Valid CA Driver's License (CDL) with a satisfactory DMV record as well as car insurance with minimum limits as required by state law are required.
