Manager 340b Program - Pharmacy
SUMMARY: Manages all aspects of the 340(b) drug pricing program for the Hospital. Ensures Hospital's compliance with the HRSA Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA) regulations related to the 340(b) drug pricing program. Presents contracts to community pharmacies and implements them within program guidelines. Collaborates with the finance and billing departments. Assists in budget planning process; participates in the analysis and interpretation of 340(b) pricing trends, and the economic impact of new legislation.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent experience. Registration (or eligible for registration) with the CA State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician is required as well as a minimum two (2) years health care or pharmacy experience is required. Knowledge of 340(b) drug pricing program is preferred. Ability to work independently and professionally within the organization. Must have organizational and work planning skills to manage independent projects. Analytical skills necessary to develop and execute a variety of financial and operational strategies. Problem solving skills to manage day to day challenges and develop and execute long term improvement. Competent in use of Excel, MS Word and other database program needed to perform job duties.
