Manager Ambulatory Services - Ambulatory Services

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for multi departmental Ambulatory operations and staff functions; including access to care, optimal clinical, financial and operational performance, and human resources, while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The incumbent manages capital assets to meet the most critical needs; leverages best practices across departments and the hospital to achieve operational excellence; ensures effective and timely charge capture for services; and maximizes relationships with physicians and staff to establish positive working environment and personal accountability. This position requires strong business acumen; experience in managing profit and loss; strong strategic, analytical, critical thinking and decision skills; communication and negotiation skills; conflict management; the ability to build and motivate high performing, cross-functional teams to deliver critical, visible results. Also requires proven ability to identify and execute innovative solutions to complex business challenges and the ability to assess and take calculated risks as appropriate to the business environment, with achieving strong bottom line results.

JOB REQUIREMENT: The job requires a minimum of five years increasingly responsible supervisory or management experience with demonstrated proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to perform the job. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. Prefer Master's Degree in related field. Management responsibility over a variety of clinics.
