Manager Training & Dev - Workforce Development
SUMMARY: The Training & Development Manager must have exceptional knowledge of organizational development, change management, adult learning principles, instructional design, development and delivery of blended learning modalities, along with experience in lean concepts to leverage success in this position. Must have a well developed professional maturity, good judgment and tact, excellent facilitation and communication skills (written and verbal), be an exceptional listener and the ability to read the subtle nuances of a situation and react/plan accordingly. This position will plan, coordinate, develop and deliver organizational wide education and training initiatives that builds organizational effectiveness, generates high levels of employee engagement, creates a talent pipeline throughout, and lead organizational change. Must possess proficient knowledge of learning management systems and curriculum authoring tools.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: College Degree - 4 year In Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field required. Masters Degree in related field preferred. CPLP - Cert Professional in Learning & Performance preferred. Minimum three (3) years in supervision/management role and minimum five (5) years in training/education and organizational development, management/leadership development or related areas required.
