Marketing Content Specialist - Marketing & Communications

SUMMARY: Acts as a liaison/counsel to various service lines and/or departments to provide communication guidance and support; helps identify opportunities to reinforce values and promote a favorable perception of the hospital to various audiences all while ensuring quality, consistency, accuracy and timeliness of messages. Responsible for planning, researching, writing, editing and proofing of various publications for both internal and external audiences.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree as well as a minimum four (4) years experience writing in healthcare, education, government, journalism or other related field. Must be an organized self-starter able to demonstrate a high level of customer service and interact professionally at all levels of the organization. Must be capable of creating strong and engaging marketing materials through writing that informs and persuades audiences. Must bring marketing perspective to all projects and possess strong problem solving skills. A keen ability to synthesize complex material from multiple sources to produce marketing-oriented articles, scripts, collateral and web content for targeted audiences. Excellent prioritization and time management skills. Possess strong organizational skills, detail oriented, resourceful, and ability to multi-task while focusing on driving results. Must demonstrate strong project management skills and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic marketing environment. Outstanding relationship building and collaboration skills while showing respect for team members and stakeholders throughout the organization. Ability to exercise good judgment and decision making, particularly in narrow time frames. Thrives in a team environment. Able to both lead projects when needed or support the project lead as needed in the best interest of the organization. Candidate must be able to demonstrate ability to utilize a suite of computer programs and be able to research through traditional and nontraditional methods.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period, day shift.
