Medical Imaging Specialist - MRI

SUMMARY: The Medical Imaging Specialist (MIS) is an unlicensed multi-skilled worker who supports patient care by performing specific technical tasks and support functions as delegated by a licensed provider. Care provided by the MIS is supervised by a Radiologic Technologist.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires two years of direct patient care experience or a graduate of a patient care program (CNA, MA, or EMT) or acceptance into a formal imaging program (RT, DMS or NM) is required. Medical terminology training is required within first six months of hire. The ability to work within a team environment and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner are required skills. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Pediatric experience and bilingual skills are preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Part time (40 hours per pay period) M-F 10:00 - 2:00 PM. Some schedule flexibility is preferred to meet the demands of the department.
