Medical Imaging Specialist - Radiology
SUMMARY: The Medical Imaging Specialist (MIS) is an unlicensed multi-skilled worker who supports patient care by performing specific technical tasks and support functions as delegated by a licensed provider. Care provided by the MIS is supervised by a Radiologic Technologist.
REQUIREMENTS: Two years of direct patient care experience or a graduate of a patient care program (CNA, MA, or EMT) or acceptance into a formal imaging program (RT, DMS or NM) is required. Medical terminology training is required within first six months of hire. The ability to work within a team environment and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner are required skills. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Pediatric experience and bilingual skills are preferred.
POSITION DETAILS: Part Time, 40 hours per pay period
