Patient Imaging Coordinator - Radiology Admin - Part-time/Days

SUMMARY: The Patient Imaging Coordinator (PIC) is a multi-skilled worker who provides operational support for the Medical Imaging department. Accountable for scheduling complex patient imaging procedures, coordinating sedation, general anesthesia, multi-discipline exams and physician availability for both in-patient and out-patient exams. Provides patient education and communicates appropriate exam information, appointment times and exam prep instructions (if indicated), with physician offices, clinics, other hospital departments and patients.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum two (2) years related health care experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Proficient with office computer systems, quick and accurate typing skills
• Proper phone etiquette is required
• The ability to work within a team environment and to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner is a required skill
• Completion of a Medical Terminology class preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED required

POSITION DETAILS:

• Part-time, 40 hours per pay period. Day shift

PAY RANGE:

• $24.60 - $34.05
