Provider Informatics Coordinator - Clinical Informatics

SUMMARY: Accountable for the support, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of provider education programs and initiatives related to Clinical Informatics and the use of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Develops provider education in alignment with the organizational strategic plan, regulatory requirements and clinical outcomes. Collaborates with cross-functional departments to design, develop and deliver education that supports the learning needs of provider (physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant). Utilizes knowledge of operational, medical staff organization and management, and regulatory/accreditation requirements to maintain the continuing medical education process and assure Valley Children's accreditation and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree as well as a minimum two (2) years successfully implementing adult learning principles. Other requirements include a minimum two (2) years working in teams and demonstrating ability to take initiative, train and coach others through various learning technologies/mediums and experience working in a healthcare setting. Experience supporting/working with clinical applications is preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time exempt level position.
