Registered Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room - Full Time/11.5-hour shifts

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment in the operating room. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's policy.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required and must meet RN II clinical advancement program criteria
• Experience in pediatrics, operating room and/or hospital inpatient setting a plus
• Bilingual skills desirable

EDUCATION/LICENCES/CERTIFICATIFICATIONS:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program, Bachelor’s in Nursing strongly preferred
• Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
• HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 12 months of hire or transfer into position

POSITION DETAILS: Full Time, 6 x 11.5-hour shifts per 2-week pay period, weekends and holidays shared on rotation and call is required on rotation once fully trained.

PAY RANGE: $41.08 - $66.20

DISCLAIMER: Top of pay scale for RN I - RN II is $66.20 and top of scale for RN III - RN IV is $70.00
