RN - Craycroft (Inpatient Oncology)

JOB SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices.

REQUIREMENTS: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); D) experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder. Bilingual skills desirable. Life Support Certifications Required: 1) Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; 2) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 12 months: Cardiac Cath Lab, and Endoscopy. Within 18 months: Recovery Room/PACU and Sedation;3) Focused Pediatric Resuscitation (FPR) within 12 months: Ambulatory Treatment Center (ATC), Apollo, Charlie Mitchell Clinic, Craycroft, Day Surgery, Discovery, Endoscopy, Explorer, Heart Center Clinic, Hematology Clinic, Home Health Agency, Neurology Testing Center, Oncology Clinic, Peds Rehab, and Pulmonology Clinic.

POSITION DETAILS: Part Time, 46 hours per pay period, Night Shift
