Supervisor MRI Technologists - MRI

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the supervision of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging department's day-to-day operational needs, staffing, schedules, customer satisfaction, change management, process &quality improvement, hiring, on-boarding & training, coaching, career development, appraisals and disciplinary actions, performance improvement initiatives and budgeting. Acts as a clinical, technical and operational resource. Performs all of the duties and adheres to the standards of an MRI Technologist III with proficiency. Serves as a clinical expert and resource utilizing various MRI equipment and PACS. Available after hours as a resource. Call and rotating shifts may be required. Will serve on internal or external committee(s).

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) an Associate's Degree in Radiology plus graduate of formal program in MRI Technology, Radiologic Technology preferred. Bachelor's Degree preferred; B) State of California Radiologic Technologist licensure (CRT) preferred; C) Radiography certification (RT-R)through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiologic Technology-ARRT preferred; D) BLS; E) a Venipunture certificate and F) a minimum of five (5) years' experience in MRI and a minimum two (2) years of leadership experience. Pediatric experience preferred.Bilingual skills desirable. Must have strong communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period Day shift
