Technical Support Analyst - IT Support & Tech Svcs

SUMMARY: This position reports to the Manager, IT Service and Support and is accountable for tier 1 support to hospital employees, physicians and affiliates that use services provided by the IT Division. This position ensures all service requested are documented in the divisions Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) systems.Provides effective first line interface with users seeking IT support. Includes receiving calls for support, recording and tracking incidents and complaints, keeping customers advised on request status and progress. Makes initial assessment of requests, attempts to resolve simple issues or escalate to the appropriate service support staff. Utilizing critical thinking skills, diagnoses and troubleshoots IT incidents. Provides access control such as user creation, password changes, remote access and assists in testing applications systems and hardware.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with at least two (2) years experience in Information Technology. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of computer hardware, software applications and network systems implemented at Valley Children's Healthcare.

POSITION DETAILS: Part time 40 hours per pay period, Day shift.
