Accountant II - Valley Children's Medical Group

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for assisting the Managers and the Director in maintaining the accounting books and records of the physician network entities in compliance with established accounting policies and procedures. Includes preparation of journal entries and reconciliations to support monthly financial statements along with budget variance analysis, maintenance of fixed asset reporting system, management of related regulatory reporting, coordinates set up of new departments and locations in general ledger, as well as analysis/reporting related to physician productivity and incentive calculations.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years experience in accounting or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2 years related experience.

  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial applications including ERP (general ledger, payroll, and fixed assets) and Microsoft Word and Excel.
