Contract Administrator - Legal Services

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the review, analysis, and ongoing administrative management of all contracts for the entire organization. Works with management to understand and define operational needs for inclusion in contract terms. Provides analytical and negotiation support to the in-house Legal Counsel, and directly negotiates routine and non-complex contracts, renewals and amendments.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare Administration or a Juris Doctorate. Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is preferred. Minimum three (3) years experience in contract administration and negotiation is required. Minimum one (1) year experience drafting, negotiating physician contracts and third-party payer contracts preferred. Minimum one (1) year experience implementing and maintaining contract management system is preferred. Demonstrates the skills necessary for working effectively with others in a changing organization. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of healthcare law relating to payer and physician contracts, reimbursement standards and methodologies.
