Development Assistant - Foundation

SUMMARY: Under general supervision, performs duties that support the pre-event, on-site and post-event assistance for CMNH and Cause Marketing events for Valley Children's Healthcare Foundation. Tasks include, but not limited to, data entry, creation and distribution of event invitations, ordering event related supplies, check-in of guests at events, handling guest reservations, event record keeping, event trend research, event logistics, direct contact with corporate partners and patient ambassadors, coordinating with CMNH and other departments within the Hospital, and other tasks as assigned. This position will require attention to detail, strong organizational skills, creative thinking, a passion for people, service minded events to create a high quality guest experience. Office work includes but is not limited to answering and returning phone calls, follow-up with inquiries, communication, data entry, and related correspondence and event files.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a high school diploma with a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related discipline preferred. Candidate must have a valid California Driver's License with an acceptable DMV record as well as car insurance with minimum limits as required by state law. A minimum of one (1) year of event or customer service experience required.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period, day shift with occasional evenings and weekends.
