Director Acute Care Svcs - Operations

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Exec. Dir, Asst. CNO & Inpatient Services, the incumbent ensures optimal quality patient care provided by the Acute Care Units of the Patient Care Division. Develops and implements short term and long term planning relative to the Clinical Operations functions, staff, and physical space.

Aligns the goals of the various departments with the strategic direction of the Hospital. Ensures high levels of patient, family, and employee satisfaction. Manages staff development and the maintenance of staff competencies. Accountable for maintaining compliance with regulatory and legal standards. The incumbent is required to work closely and in collaboration with many different constituencies, both internally and externally. Understands, supports, and promotes the Hospital's mission, vision and core values.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a minimum of a Master's Degree. Either the Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree must be in Nursing. Candidate must have a valid California RN license and a minimum five (5) years experience in a hospital management or administrative leadership position as well as a minimum three (3) years clinical nursing experience. Certifications that are preferred include the following: CNA, CHE, FACHE.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time exempt level position
