Director Ambulatory Services - Ambulatory Care Support

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Executive Director of Ambulatory Services, this position maintains overall strategic and programmatic responsibility for programs within his/her jurisdiction. This position has direct accountability for the leaders responsible for the day to day operations of each program or programs. Works collaboratively with medical, clinical, and nursing staff in the department(s) to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery and customer satisfaction throughout the ambulatory division. Maintains fiscal accountability through the development, implementation, and evaluation of annual operating and capital budgets, provides administrative direction through the formulation of goals and strategic plans, and has 24-hour accountability of the department. Also coordinates a planned and systematic Quality/Performance Improvement Program for the division. Accountable for the development of staff resources and leadership emphasis on the dyad leadership program. Practices in accordance with Valley Children's Healthcare policies.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree with a Master's Degree preferred. Minimum three (3) years management experience required. Minimum five (5) years increasingly responsible experience which demonstrates proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to perform the job is preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time exempt level position, day shift.
