Imaging Informatics Specialist

SUMMARY: The Imaging Informatics Specialist will participate as a key member of the core team charged with successfully implementing the integrated electronic medical record (Epic). The Imaging Informatics Specialist will be assigned to the project for the duration and will be required to attend training and become an Epic certified professional. In partnership with team members and in line with the project plan, the Imaging Informatics Specialist will participate in the design, build, test, train, implementation and support of the assigned application. This is a permanent position that will be dedicated to ongoing support of Epic post implementation.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a minimum of 2 years experience as an imaging technologist and ability to work with colleagues in a positive way to help reinforce changes in workflows supporting the intended use of the electronic system and avoiding system work-arounds. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school/program of Radiology, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound and have the ARRT, ARDMS or NMTCB or other medical imaging technology certification or registry.
