Mental Health Clinician - Child Abuse Preventio/Treatment

SUMMARY: The Guild's Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Center Mental Health Clinician is accountable to meet the immediate mental health needs of patients who are suspected victims of child abuse including trauma-informed, culturally relevant clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and short term therapy. The Clinician will facilitate transition to long term mental health services in the county of origin if medically necessary. If long term services are not required, linkages and referrals will be made to community resources.

JOB REQUIREMENT: Masters Degree Accredited school of Social Work required. LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker required. Minimum two (2) years Mental health clinician in an outpatient setting required. Experience in child/adolescent mental health and working with a pediatric population that has experienced maltreatment preferred. Bilingual Skills Preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Demonstrated ability working with a broad range of clients from diverse cultures and backgrounds required.
