Patient Imaging Coordinator - Radiology Admin - PT/Days

SUMMARY: The Patient Imaging Coordinator (PIC) is a multi-skilled worker who provides operational support for the Medical Imaging department. Accountable for scheduling complex patient imaging procedures, coordinating sedation, general anesthesia, multi-discipline exams and physician availability for both in-patient and out-patient exams. Provides patient education and communicates appropriate exam information, appointment times and exam prep instructions (if indicated), with physician offices, clinics, other hospital departments and patients.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a High School Diploma/GED. Minimum two (2) years related heath care experience required. Pediatric and/or OB experience preferred. Must be proficient with office computer systems, quick and accurate typing skills. Proper phone etiquette is required. The ability to work within a team environment and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner is required skills. Completion of Medical Terminology class preferred. Bilingual skills preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Part-time, 40 hours per pay period. Day shifts
