Physical/Occupational Therapy Aide - Physical Therapy - Part Time

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing patient care under the continuous and immediate supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR), or certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Maintains office, equipment, and treatment areas in a safe, clean and orderly manner. Assists with related ordering and maintenance duties. Participates in department and professional growth, concentrating on development of basic clinical skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/G.E.D. required, Minimum one (1) year related experience required. Minimum one (1) year pediatric experience in rehab (PT or OT) setting preferred.

Active involvement in professional development, and ability to manage a functional caseload independently.
Prefer medical terminology and basic sciences and a basic understanding of normal child development. Bilingual skills preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Part time, 48 hours per pay period. Hours vary Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
