Radiology Technologist Lead - Radiology

SUMMARY: Proficiently performs a variety of standard, specialty and complex diagnostic radiographic procedures with mastery; responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment) to achieve superior quality studies under a variety of conditions with no supervision. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation physics and image production. Demonstrates appropriate use of ALARA - minimal technique parameters, collimation and correctly positions patients. Serves as a clinical resource for Radiology. Applies the profession’s code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.Demonstrates experience or high level of competency in working with leadership to improve technical performance, implementing new technology and/or software applications, maintain or develop exam protocols, mentoring or teaching in respective specialty, and/or improving operational efficiency within their department.Demonstrates experience to lead a team, coordinate work schedules, improving technical performance, implementing new technology and/or software applications, maintaining or developing scanning protocols, ACR application process, mentoring or teaching in respective specialty, and/or improving operational efficiency within their department.

REQUIREMENTS: A) an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; B) BLS; C) State of
California Radiologic Technologist licensure (CRT), Radiography certification (RT R) through the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiologic Technology ARRT, and Fluoroscopy
permit (RHF) required within 6 months of hire; and D) a minimum of five (5) years of experience in
Diagnostic Radiology. Pediatric experience preferred. Bilingual skills desirable.

POSITION DETAILS: Full Time, 80 hours per pay period, M - F, 3 pm. to 11:30 pm. Available to work the occasional weekend or holiday to meet department needs.
