Rev Cycle Training Analyst - SMG Patient Accounting - Full Time - Remote

SUMMARY: Responsible for the job specific training needs for assigned area within the Revenue Cycle Division (on campus and satellite locations). Partners closely with appropriate leadership to identify job content skills needs and priorities for the staff. Responsible to develop education programs to address Revenue Cycle initiatives, organizational operating initiatives, payer requirements, and other regulatory requirements. Utilizes Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM), and other industry best practices knowledge to develop and implement skills training. Analyzes and identifies gaps in staff knowledge, processes, and interfaced systems to determine root cause, origination, and cycle of errors. Develops methods and materials for training staff and prepare curriculum such as lectures, ideas from group discussions, demonstrations, SBARs and remedial workshops. Requires the ability to investigate and analyze data in order to develop skills training programs and to facilitate process improvement. Develops and implements tools to measure skills improvement. Will be required to attend training and become an Epic certified professional. This is a permanent position that will be dedicated to ongoing support of Epic post implementation. REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a four year college degree or combination of equivalent education and experience. Minimum of three (3) years experience working in teams, demonstrating the ability to take initiative, train and coach others required. Minimum of one (1) year Revenue Cycle systems and processes.

Effective communication skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Must have the ability to train and coach others utilizing various learning technologies and modalities. Travel is required to offsite locations. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time, remote position. 80 hours per pay period. Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.
