JOB SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems. This is an entry level position responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's policies.

REQUIREMENTS: A) a graduate from anaccredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active CaliforniaRegistered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specificsbelow); and D) experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder level. Bilingualskills desirable.

Life Support Certifications required: 1) Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS)within 30 days and 2) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within six month ofhire or transfer into the position

POSITION DETAILS: Full Time,69 Hours per pay period, various shifts available
