Staff Development Specialist - Workforce Development

SUMMARY: This position reports to the Manager, Workforce Training & Development and is accountable for the designing, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of staff development and training resources utilizing adult and accelerated learning methodologies to drive employee engagement. Must have working knowledge of learning management systems and curriculum authoring tools. Assesses individual and organizational staff development needs and evaluates/measures the programs effectiveness. This position partners with other Human Resource professionals and hospital leadership to coordinate staff and employee engagement activities. The incumbent will serve as an expert by consulting, coaching, and identifying training and employee engagement opportunities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: College Degree - 4 year or equivalent experience required. Minimum three (3) years in an instructional design area including program design, development and delivery utilizing adult and accelerated learning methodologies required. Minimum three (3) years in training and development directly related to onboarding, staff and professional development, and engagement programs required. Minimum one (1) year in coaching, leading and collaborating with leadership required. Working with earning Management Systems (LMS), publishing eLearning outcomes utilizing an authoring tool; Articulate preferred. Measuring effectiveness of training initiatives and workforce engagement. In communicating and working with all levels within an organization. Project management.
