Case Manager Registered Nurse - Oncology/Hematology
About Us:
Our Pediatric Hematology Clinic offers a comprehensive range of specialized services treating various blood disorders. From the most prevalent to the rarest conditions, our dedicated team ensures top-notch care to over 25 patient visits daily. Our facility houses an outpatient unit with well-equipped treatment rooms and an infusion center, where we prioritize Child Life and family centered care.
As the only federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) in the Central Valley, we offer comprehensive care for bleeding and clotting issues, including hemophilia, thrombocytopenic disorders, and Von Willebrand disease.
The clinic’s hemoglobinopathy program addresses prevalent conditions in the region like sickle cell anemia and thalassemia. We are proud to implement the Apheresis Program, uniquely benefiting patients with sickle cell disease by reducing Emergency Room visits during crisis.
Being one of the 140 HTCs nationwide, our clinic actively contributes to research initiatives such as My Life Our Future (MLOF) and the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) Universal Data Collection Project, positively impacting our bleeding disorder patients. Collaborating with experts nationwide, we offer the latest treatments for thalassemia, sickle cell disease, and iron overload.
