Clinical Apps Analyst I - OpTime - IT Clinical Systems
Job Description
As a Clinical Applications Analyst, you will support clinical systems and workflows within Valley Children's Healthcare (VCH), including analyzing and documenting processes consistent with the VCH mission. You will be a proactive problem-solver, demonstrating proven clinical functionality experience with a core understanding of clinical and/ or ancillary systems and application knowledge. Under direct supervision, assists with the planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of EPIC, and other clinical applications, builds and system workflows. Assists in the implementation, analysis and testing, maintenance and upgrades, application design, and debugging of Epic and clinical systems related projects. Has a basic understanding of the technical components of supported applications to maintain system integrity. Acts as a resource for application support and reporting needs. This position supports the OpTime Application, Epic's operating room management system, used for analyzing OR utilization, creating a marketplace for OR time, monitoring preference cards, controlling supply and implant costs, managing patient flow, and improving patient experiences all in one system without bolt-on software or extra interfaces.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum one (1) year Information Technology related work experience required.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management.
- Possible overnight and weekend on-call coverage.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required.
- College Degree - 4 year in related field preferred.
- EPIC - Epic Certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position required.
