Clinical Coordinator - Transport
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the director and in collaboration with department leadership, this position serves as a consultant in the care of patients and is accountable for coordinating and promoting a continuous learning environment that supports ongoing clinical staff development. Responsibilities include leadership in identifying and reviewing nursing clinical practice and procedures, equipment and processes that will enhance clinical operations and patient care outcomes as well as determining learner needs, identification of educational outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency. This position practices within the scope of the Nursing Practice act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Healthcare policies.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A) Bachelor’sDegree required. Master’s Degree Preferred. Either Bachelors or Master’s Degreemust be in Nursing. B) Active CaliforniaRegistered Nurse licensure (RN) and a minimum of 3 years related experiencerequired. National Certification in area of specialty is highly desirable.
