Clinical Informatics Provider Consultant - Full Time (2345)

SUMMARY: The Clinical Informatics Provider Consultant works collaboratively with users of clinical information systems and facilitates the planning and execution of project activities to achieve departmental, organizational and medical staff priorities. Provides leadership and expertise in the planning of workflow redesign, implementation, and optimization. Serves as an educator and resource for communication, process improvement and quality initiatives. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and key stakeholders to help identify and develop informatics solutions and to develop and support systematic, sustainable processes. Participates in workflow analysis and design in order to optimize functionality. Evaluates and develops appropriate adult learning strategies related to the use and optimization of the designated clinical systems Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for providers. Develops education in alignment with the organizational strategic plan, regulatory requirements and clinical outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS:This job requires a Bachelor's Degree with a Master's Degree preferred. Minimum three (3) years working in teams and demonstrating ability to take initiative, train and coach others through various learning technologies. Minimum three (3) years experience in an instructional design including program design, development and delivery utilizing adult learning methodologies. Minimum three (3) years understanding and familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data, and possesses the ability to present information to a variety of audiences. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical professionals and a strong ability to translate administrative and operating requirements into clear, specific and actionable curriculum is preferred. Skills in the areas of project and change management, strategic and critical thinking, consulting and relationship building is preferred. Experience working with senior management, physicians and all levels of staff. Project management experience preferred. Strong customer service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period, exempt level position.
