Collections Representative - Pt Acctg Collections

SUMMARY: Responsible for the management and collection of self-pay patient balances. Works with patients to secure government sponsored health insurance, make payment arrangements for self-pay contracts, process bankruptcy and make recommendation toward charity care eligibility. Greets customers and other visitors, process incoming mail daily and operate a multi-line telephone routing incoming calls.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/G.E.D. required. Minimum three (3) years clerical and/or healthcare experience required. Proficient computer skills and aptitude. Bilingual skills preferred. Must possess excellent communication/interpersonal skills as well as the ability to problem solve effectively and handle multiple priorities.

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Remote.
