Job Description
Performs a variety of standard and specialty Computed Tomography procedures with accuracy; responsibly administering ionizing radiation appropriately, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions with little supervision. Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, CT physics and image production. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

Primary job responsibilities involve performing exams in Computed Tomography to department standard in a timely and effective manner as a part of team servicing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patient populations.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum six (6) months Computed Tomography experience required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required and a graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology or a College Degree - 2 year required
- BLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
- CRT - CA Radiologic Technologist License required
- RT-R - ARRT Reg Tech Radiography required
- RT-CT - ARRT Reg Tech Computed Tomography preferred
