Data Analytics Translator - Business Development
Job Description
The Data Analytics Translator serves as a vital liaison between business leaders and data professionals, ensuring the successful translation of operational needs into clear, actionable data solutions. This role supports organizational decision-making through proactive engagement, strategic project facilitation, and alignment with data governance standards. The Data Analytics Translator will monitor and communicate organizational analytic priorities, support the development of meaningful data structures, and champion continuous data quality improvement in collaboration with stakeholders across departments.
In this role, the Data Analytics Translator will work closely with business leaders to understand their data needs, translate those needs into actionable solutions, and either guide them to technical delivery teams or independently complete analytical deliverables. They will actively manage incoming analytical requests, regularly presenting new and pending priorities to the Organizational Analytics Steering Committee and staying engaged with executives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. The translator will identify and define new metrics, dimensions, and attributes tied to organizational projects, collaborating with Data Governance and I.T. to ensure integration into enterprise architecture. A key function of the role includes monitoring data quality using dedicated systems, partnering with data stewards to identify issues and support continuous improvement. Additionally, the translator will provide both analytical and logistical support to the Data Governance Committee and project teams, ensuring effective coordination and alignment with enterprise data strategies.

Our team handles volume projections and includes Organizational Data Analytics, which drives the organization’s data strategy and provides critical analysis for hospital and medical leadership. EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum three (3) years working in teams and demonstrating ability to take initiative, train and coach others to utilize analytics principles as part of the work
- Strong acumen in quantitative analytics and structured problem solving
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency with a variety of information systems and computing tools/applications
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- College degree - 4 year in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) or four (4) years equivalent work experience
- If equivalent experience, High school diploma required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
