Emergency Mgmt Coordinator - Emergency Response Mgmt

SUMMARY: The Emergency Management Coordinator position provides continuous evaluation of the Emergency Management Plan (EMP) to ensure compliance to laws, regulations and accreditation standards through the use of specific assessment tools and other projects as assigned. The Coordinator provides leadership for the management of the Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) and supports remediation efforts. This position has oversight and coordination of EMP activities that are carried out by the Hospital's Safety Coordinator and Pre-Hospital Liaison positions. This position will also have responsibility for consultation and education to staff and physicians regarding emergency management issues. This position reports to the Director, Emergency, Trauma Program & Emergency Management.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum three (3) years progressively responsible work experience required.
  • Minimum five (5) years work experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in critical thinking and problem solving and projects requiring attention to detail and specific timelines.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hospital and health care organizational operations acquired through experience that includes exposure to a variety of levels of leadership.
  • Leadership and organization skills.
  • Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power Point.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • College Degree - 4 year healthcare or related field required

POSITION DETAILS:

  • Part-time, 40 hours per pay period

PAY RANGE:

  • $38.25 - $56.60
