Forensic Interview Specialist - Guild Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment - Per Diem

SUMMARY: The Child Forensic Interviewer conducts interviews of children or disabled adults who may have been victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse or witnessed a crime at Valley Children's Hospital's Multidisciplinary Interview Center (MDIC). The Child Forensic Interviewer is part of a multidisciplinary team which includes the District Attorney's Office, Law Enforcement, Child Protective Services, Victim Advocacy, and Medical professionals.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Human Services or other related field with a Master's Degree preferred.
  • Certification of completion for Child Forensic Interview Training is required within six months of hire or transfer into position.
  • Minimum three years working with children and families in the social services field is required.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

POSITION DETAILS: Per diem position with as needed hours.

PAY RANGE: $40.80-$62.40
