Genetic Counselor Assistant - Genetics
This position is a trainee role accountable for orienting and assisting in the areas of genetic services and case management of medical genetic and metabolic genetic patients. Serves as an integral support to the Genetic Counselors and Geneticists; including chart preparation, assisting with lab orders, managing results, insurance authorization, and troubleshooting.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum one (1) year applicable medical genetics setting and/or area of focus (i.e. lab or neurology) preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- College Degree - 4 year in Genetics, Chemistry, Biology or Medical Technology preferred OR equivalent experience, if equivalent experience, high school diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required.
