HIM Data Specialist - Clinical Documentation/Coding
Case finds, accessions, and abstracts for multiple registries including the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC), ImproveCareNow (ICN), and Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Consortium (PC4). Abstracts specific data elements from within the medical record and enters or validates data into the various Valley Children's Healthcare comparative database systems and registries for both internal and external administrative and clinical statistical reporting.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum one (1) year related experience required
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- College degree – 2 year in Health Information Technology required
- Registered Health Information Tech (RHIT) OR Registered Health Information Admin (RHIA) is required
- Active California Registered Nurse license preferred
