HR Specialist - Human Resources

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing support to the Vice President, Human Resources and assisting the Human Resources Division in various initiatives to maximize engagement and recognition enterprise-wide towards the achievement of the Best People Strategy. This position will assist in the planning, coordinating and delivering of HR sponsored events, complete special projects, compile reports and prepare presentations. This position will coordinate the delivery and support the ongoing efforts of the recognition program and events. This position is also accountable to maintain highly confidential HR files and support the operating budget process for the Division.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a High School Diploma with a college degree preferred. Minimum three (3) years related experience, including at least one year in a Human Resources setting required with five (5) years increasing responsibility preferred.

Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills. Must demonstrate high degree of professionalism and sound decision making skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and prior experience with even planning required. Microsoft Office products required. Experience with Publisher and Visio preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period
