Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing all inventory activities within the primary Materials Distribution Center (MDC I) with additional coverage at Material Distribution Center II (MDC II) as applicable. Core duties include providing replenishment advice, conducting inventory audits, performing physical inventory and cycle counts, evaluating and adjusting PAR levels, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies. This role requires excellent communication skills to collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff timely, item master maintenance, and oversee the inventory recall processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, ability to manage multiple inventory-related tasks, projects, and initiatives in a timely and organized manner, and solid understanding of inventory control principles.Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma (required)
- Associates Degree (preferred) Or
- Bachelors Degree (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum two (2) years Distribution experience. (required)
- Minimum two (2) years Inventory control management (required)
- Enterprise Resource Planning systems experience. (preferred)
- Warehouse Operations (preferred)
Skills and Abilities
- Must possess good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to interact effectively with and establish rapport with all levels of management and staff employees.
- Computer Skills Possesses recent and relevant knowledge of procurement/ERPData analytics
