IR Tech I - Interventional Radiology - FT/Days

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Interventional Radiologist and Imaging Leadership, the IR Technologist is responsible for the overall clinical operational execution of the IR service. IR technologists assist in a variety of specialty and complex interventional and diagnostic procedures with proficiency. Technologist orders and maintains supplies, operates radiologic equipment, and sets exposure parameters during interventional and diagnostic procedures according to state and federal radiation safety regulations following ALARA principles. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a High School Diploma/GED and a graduate of a formal accredited program in Radiologic Technology or a College Degree - 2 year in Radiology. College Degree - 4 year preferred. BLS - Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position. CRT - CA Radiologic Technologist License, RT-R - ARRT Ret Tech Radiography License & RHF - Rad Tech/Fluoroscopy License are required. A minimum of six (6) months Radiology Experience is preferred. Pediatric Experience & Bilingual skills are also preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period. Day shifts

PAY RANGE: $36.80 - $57.00
