Job Summary:
This position reports to the Manager, Workforce Training & Development and is accountable for the designing, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of staff development and training resources utilizing adult and accelerated learning methodologies to drive employee engagement. Must have working knowledge of learning management systems and curriculum authoring tools. Assesses individual and organizational staff development needs and evaluates/measures program effectiveness. This position partners with other Human Resource professionals and hospital leadership, serving as an expert in consulting, coaching, identifying and coordinating staff training and development activities.Qualifications:
Education
- College Degree - 4 year (required) Or
- Equivalent Experience (required)
Work Experience
- Minimum three (3) years In an instructional design area including program design, development and delivery utilizing adult and accelerated learning methodologies. (required)
- Minimum three (3) years In training and development directly related to onboarding, staff and professional development programs (required)
- Minimum one (1) year In consulting and collaborating with leadership (required)
- Minimum one (1) year Experience measuring effectiveness of training initiatives (required)
Skills and Abilities
- Computer Skills Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or publishing eLearning outcomes utilizing an authoring tool required.Articulate preferred.
