Manager IT Access & Rev Cycle - IT Clinical Systems

SUMMARY: Responsible for the execution of IT functions associated with patient access and revenue cycle, including: providing application knowledge and experience and ensuring effective service lifecycle management of patient access and revenue cycle software applications. Reporting to the Director, IT Clinical Systems, this role is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of processes, tools and practices supporting effective IT service delivery to VCH and its business partners. Directly responsible for Epic patient access and revenue cycle applications, workflows and functions. Manage team workload, evaluate productivity and accountabilities, manage resources and ensure proper operations of patient access and revenue cycle systems. Develops and implements systems using industry-identified best practices. Participates in Administrator On-Call coverage supporting IT on-call staff and facilitating communication to organizational operations. Responsible for the development and administration of departmental, divisional and organization-wide policies and procedures. Ensures consistent project management methodologies and documentation standards are employed to meet organizational business needs. Participates in the development of Capital and Operating budgets.

This position is a key IT leadership position and will work closely with leadership at all levels. IT leaders are expected to work together as a team and provide input and value for all technology needs. Candidates must be comfortable with stretching their abilities to a wide swath of Information Technology topics, including making decisions and providing input outside your primary scope of expertise

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field with a master's degree preferred. Candidates is required to have a minimum five (5) years progressively responsible experience along with IT experience. Healthcare experience is preferred. Epic certification is preferred within four (4) months of hire or transfer into position.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time exempt level position

PAY RANGE: $52.70 - $82.25
