Manager Respiratory Care - Respiratory Care Services

SUMMARY: The Manager of Respiratory Care is a critical management/leadership position within the system that is critical to the fulfillment of the Hospital's Mission. Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Care the incumbent will provide operational and clinical leadership to plan, coordinate and manager personnel, and resources to provide the highest quality of patient care with trained and professional staff in the most cost effective manner. Incumbent will serve as a respiratory liaison, collaborating with physicians, nursing, other healthcare disciplines, and within the community, to assure optimal quality patient care. The position supports the effective performances of all aspects of the provision of respiratory and pulmonary function services. REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field as well as completion of a COARC accredited Respiratory Care Program. A Master's Degree is preferred. Candidate must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist and have a valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner License and hold the Neonatal/Pedatric Specialty credential from the NBRC. Candidate must have three (3) years supervisory level experience with demonstrated excellent teamwork and interpersonal. Research experience and demonstrated technical writing and publishing skills are preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period.
