Medical Assistant- Valley Children's Medical Group - Per Diem
The Medical Assistant (MA) is accountable for basic clerical and technical supportive services within a defined scope of practice under the direction of a licensed physician or surgeon. The incumbent functions as a patient care team member assisting licensed staff in the performance and provision of safe and efficient patient care.

EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of six (6) months working in a healthcare environment as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required
- BLS - Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
