Job Summary:
This position reports to the Director, HR Operations and is responsible for forecasting the future staffing needs of Valley Children's Healthcare. Through the analysis of current demographics and needed skill set, this position will identify gaps and participate in developing strategies to build quantitative labor forecasts that guide and support organizational performance, planning, and strategic initiatives. Oversees the position request and approval process. Contributes to the continuous evolution of our comprehensive compensation program by anticipating future compensation challenges and proactively designing innovative and scalable solutions. Effectively presents compelling, data-backed proposals to influence and gain buy-in from executive leadership, ensuring alignment with our compensation philosophy and financial guardrails. Oversees the operation and maintenance of human resource information systems in order to drive continuous quality improvements and ensure data integrity.Ensures compliance of compensation program design with all legal and regulatory requirements; ensures filing of appropriate legal/regulatory statements and reports. Provides leadership for the development and improvement of systems and processes.

Education
- College Degree - 4 year In Business, Human Resources or related field (required)
Licenses and Certifications
- CCOMP - Cert Compensation Professional (preferred)
- PHR - Professional in Human Resources (preferred) Or
- SPHR - Sr Professional in Human Resources (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum five (5) years Related experience in compensation and/or workforce planning (required)
- Minimum three (3) years HRIS experience (required)
- Minimum five (5) years Increasing responsible experience (required)
Skills and Abilities
- Requires independent problem-solving skills.
Management of multiple concurrent tasks.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
Statistical analysis also required.
Previous experience in human resource information system and knowledge of California and federal wage & hour regulations (e.g. FLSA, Wage & Hour) required.
