Nursing Administrative Special - Nursing Practice

SUMMARY: The Nursing Administrative Specialist is accountable for providing advanced organizational administrative support for nursing services and regulatory and accreditation compliance. This position interacts and supports leaders and staff across the organization. This position is accountable for coordinating and supporting the nursing governance committees, related task forces and select organizational interdisciplinary committees. The position coordinates activities associated with nursing systems, projects, and events. Performs complex technical/computer based functions including developing, compiling and trending reports, graphic presentations, editing, meeting minutes and web page management. Provides administrative support for activities associated with accreditation surveys or inspections and regulatory compliance. This position reports to the Director Regulatory and Clinical Practice.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a High School Diploma or G.E.D., Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Minimum of one year meeting and data management experience required. Minimum of three years related experience required. Five years increasingly responsible experience which demonstrates proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to perform the job preferred. Experience in leadership, nursing administration, medical staff office, healthcare or related setting preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time, 80 hours per pay period. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

PAY RANGE: $24.90-$38.00

LOCATION: Madera, CA
