Payor Contracting Coordinator - Payor Contracting

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for facilitating payer credentialing and enrollment for contracted hospital-based providers. This position provides support to the Payor Contracting Department for review of payer policies and coordination of follow up needed; preparation of letters to payers and coordination of Single Case Agreements as needed; and coordination of all hospital-based provider rosters, directory and training attestations, and enrollment applications. Incumbents in this position will use various PC software applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, databases, etc. to produce high quality reports, presentations or other documents.

Qualified individuals must possess strong project management skills including the ability to adapt frequently to changing work priorities. Must be detail oriented and possess high level of initiative, efficiency and critical thinking skills. Requires excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills with ability to work with all different levels within the organization.

Experience and Education

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two years related experience required.
  • Working knowledge of word processing and database operation.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required.
  • College degree preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, 72 hours per pay period.

PAY RANGE: $28.90-$42.00
