Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Physician
Job Summary:
We are looking for a collaborative, compassionate physician who shares our commitment to excellence in patient care, clinical research, and education. Candidates with 3+ years of experience and an interest in Survivorship are encouraged to apply, though all qualified applicants will be considered.Our Childhood Cancer Survivorship Program has grown from 134 annual visits in 2010 to over 900 projected visits in 2025, providing lifelong, multidisciplinary care to a rapidly expanding survivor population. The program engages nearly 200 participants annually through its conference and awarded 105 scholarships last year, highlighting its strong commitment to education, support, and long-term patient success.
Job Description:
One of the largest pediatric cancer programs on the West Coast. Only provider of pediatric hematology/oncology services between Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Dedicated 36-bed inpatient unit and full-service outpatient center 151 new oncology diagnoses and 15,163 outpatient visits in FY2025.
Top 5% enrollment nationally in Children’s Oncology Group (COG) trials. Federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center. Active member of the ASH Research Collaborative and CDC Community Counts Project
Comprehensive Programs Include:

- Childhood Cancer Survivorship: This program is well supported with an endowment for the development of the program and an additional endowment for the Program Director position
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Completion of ACGME-accredited pediatric residency and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care, research, and/or education
- Interest or expertise in Survivorship preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
